Hey you ... yes YOU! The high school freshman, high school senior, or freshman in college who feels all alone, has struggled with self-image, has tried drugs, alcohol or cutting to help ease your pain. The girl who has had thoughts of suicide, has been raped, or maybe you are in the foster system and feel like no one wants you. Maybe you just feel alone. Well, you are on my heart. Your heart is sacred. It is not a playground. It should not be thrown around and stomped on just to be popular or to fit in.
God loves you and has an amazing plan for your life. He wants you to love Him first. You don’t have to look for love in the wrong places. Being pressured to fit in and experiment with drugs and alcohol is not the answer. Being pressured to wear skimpy clothes does not make you beautiful and will not fill a void. Drugs, alcohol and boys will not bring true fulfillment that only He can give.
He has so much in store for that BEAUTIFUL heart of yours. Maybe it’s been hurt or trampled on, but we want to help encourage you. To be there for you. To remind you how amazing you are and that your future is so bright! Maybe it’s time to sit back and start dreaming again. Do you want to be a singer or doctor but feel no one believes in you? You CAN DO IT! Start journaling your thoughts, hopes, & dreams. We are working on something FOR YOU (coming right to this page very soon). Stay tuned!
But, for today - know that you are beautiful, you are treasured, and God has amazing plans for your life. Don’t give up hope! If you are struggling with something - don't feel weak asking for help. Talk to a parent, teacher, counselor, pastor, ... It takes strength to do that. It’s not weakness. Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you a hope and a future...”
