Today is one of those days while my toddler was napping that made me all giddy because I checked quite a few things off my to do list. The sound of the washer and dishwasher were music to my ears and the floors were freshly vacuumed after my son went down for a nap. I felt kinda lame for being so giddy and overzealous about such “weird” things, but then God reminded me that blessings are blessings, no matter their size. We have to find those “little” things in the day-to-day that make us thankful and grateful for the current season of life we are in. Own those quirky things that make you smile - Amazon packages, freshly cleaned toddler toys, writing deadlines that were met a day early, a fully stocked diaper changing station, horizontal vacuum marks and freshly mopped floors. It’s a good day to have a good day! ♥️
In 2019, I want to live more like Liam:
To find the beauty in every moment,
To appreciate the beauty of God's creation,
To dance offbeat,
To belly laugh at the simplest and weirdest of things,
To live without the need for the approval of others to be myself.
In 2019, I want to find beauty in the mundane, the messy, and the chaos.
Welcome to a place where we can be raw and authentic with one another. Sometimes you just need a Mommy Moment - a place to be encouraged, a place of quiet where you can drink your cold cup of coffee and pray it's stronger than your toddler, a place where you can shove that brownie in your mouth before the little humans see it, a place where you can admit how difficult but how remarkably rewarding it is to raise tiny humans. ♥️✨
